It is based on the principles of Hatha Yoga and will be held on Saturdays from 10am to 11.30am, in the Greenknowe Room. It is suitable for all levels and is by donation. Don’t be bashful or worried about your level of fitness – just turn up and see if it’s for you.
We have two shopping services to help you.
Our Centre has a weekly list shopping service for those who are frail, elderly or disabled. The service (cost $4) enables people to remain in their own home and be independent.
We also have our Shopping Service Bus (for frail, aged and disabled customers). Shoppers leave the Centre at 10am (arrangements can be made to pick up those unable to come to the Centre). They are driven to the shopping centre and then home with their groceries. (Cost $4.) Our bus goes every Tuesday, alternating between Eastgate Bondi Junction and Marrickville Metro.

The Community Centre has been saddened by the loss of Henri Jansen and his partner John Heal. Henri was a volunteer at the Centre and both Henri & John were members and long time supporters of the Centre. Both Henri & John had generously registered with the University of Sydney Discipline of Anatomy & Histology’s Body Donation Program. Due to their generosity they will both be helping the Sydney University Discipline of Anatomy School of Medical Science with much needed help with medical research.
