The Kings Cross Community Op Shop will be re-opening on Tuesday November 2nd. Just a reminder that it is situated at 117A Macleay Street opposite the El Alamein Fountain.

Bill and his friends will also be re-starting the Thursday book stall on Thursday 4th November. It will take place at its old home next to Maggies and opposite the children’s playground in the Fitzroy Gardens, Potts Point.

All proceeds go towards the programmes run by The Kings Cross Community Centre.

Come in and browse.  Bric a brac, antiques, books. There’s something for everyone.


There is a beaded jewellery creation class being held upstairs in the Rex Centre on the second Saturday of each month. The cost is $85 for the full course but this includes all materials and tools.


Kings Cross Film Society

In the Macleay Room at the Rex Centre. Last Friday of the month from 5.50pm.
Membership is $5 for 6 months (payable at the door at the time of your first visit).

Are you or someone you know having difficulty shopping or maybe you are helping a friend or neighbour by doing their shopping for them. We currently have spaces available for our weekly List Shopping Service. If you think you might be interested in this service or would like more details please ring the office or come in for a chat

We also have another Weekly Shopping Service on Tuesday which alternates between Bondi Junction and Marrickville Metro. This is a half day outing (10am to 2pm) for you to do your groceries or do a bit of retail shoppingt.

The Thursday book and bric-a-brac stall has extended its hours. The stalls will now be up and running from 10am to 2pm every Thursday, hope to see you there.


Fees are:
$3 for a new member
$2 for a renewal.
