We’re excited to announce our next Kings Cross Community Book Club date!
The book we will discuss is:
A Sunny Place for Shady People by Mariana Enriquez, her first story collection since the International Booker Prize-shortlisted The Dangers of Smoking in Bed.
Featuring achingly human characters whose lives intertwine with ghosts, the occult and the macabre, the stories explore love, womanhood, LGBTQ counterculture, parenthood and Argentina's brutal past.
Available at Kings Cross Library and Potts Point Bookshop for $33.00 (in late July as the shop is under-going renovations)
Kindle for $16.27
Your hosts for the evening are:
